You can refer yourself to any Human Givens therapist. In some circumstances you may be referred to organizations or private practices by other health care providers that offer specific methods or tools for working with trauma or addictions etc. and all Human Givens therapists are trained in rapid and effective treatments for these experiences and some may specifically specialize in certain areas. If in doubt speak to me and if I am not the best person to help you I will refer you to someone who is better suited to your particular needs.

Probably less you think!
Whilst I am a Trainee under supervisor working on practice hours before taking my final Practitioners License exam my Givens psychotherapy services are FREE and I am licensed to work with mild to moderate cases of mental health challenge of which many cases are.
Once fully qualified I will offer Human Givens therapy as a private practitioner. There is a wide range of costs in therapy in general and my rate will reflect the region I work in, colleagues in the same region and my experience. Sessions may be 60 mins or 90 mins long depending on availability and your preference and are very good value. Book a free no obligation initial contact call to find out what I can do for you.

No, Human Givens is brief psychotherapy, I aim to get you back in control of your life so you can thrive as soon as possible in as few sessions as necessary. All sessions are pay-as -you-go and on a needs basis determined by what you feel you need help and support with and there is no minimum. You may decide two or three sessions has been enough to help you or you may like a little longer. Its entirely up to you.

We work together but the duration is set by your goals and needs each time we meet, so you will know when you have had what you came for. You will start to feel better after each session and the average duration for many is 3-6 sessions. You can always decide to return for some further help whenever the need arises but there is no obligation. Typically I’d recommend a week or two between sessions so you have a chance to practice new skills and see how the therapy improves things outside of sessions. For most common mental health challenges mild to moderate cases need not take a protracted period to help you. You can of course always come back at a later date if anything else should come up that you’d like some help with.

Human Givens Therapists will never ask for payment up front. Sessions are either paid for after each session with a card reader or invoiced within 24hrs. Prompt payment is always appreciated!

Not every therapy will suit every person. In the Human Givens approach therapists look to see what is missing or being misused in a clients life, with the aim of helping them meet their needs in appropriate balance and in healthier ways using a flexible framework which best suits the client. We tailor the therapy to you. It is not a one size fits all model.
It is important that you are at the center of any therapy you undertake. The Human Givens approach recognizes it is vital we feel in control of our lives and that is no different when getting help in the form of therapy. We are all individuals with different experiences and life circumstances, so when you need a little help therapy should be crafted to you.
If at any point you decide the approach is not working for you can stop and only pay for what you’ve had.
